About Joby

I graduated from East Tennessee State University in 2000 with an M.S. in Mathematical Sciences, from Virginia Tech in 2008 with an M.S. Agricultural and Applied Economics, and in 2016 with a Ph.D. in Geospatial and Environmental Analysis. I am a nineteen-year veteran mathematics and statistics instructor; I have also worked for six years as a research scientist at the Center for Natural Resources Assessment and Decision Support where he led the development of improved modeling tools and datasets for natural resources assessments. I love helping people in general and finding ways to explain tough concepts so that others can understand.
